Rugged & Ruthless is where I do my most raw, real-world filmmaking.
Every episode takes place outdoors in unpredictable conditions. I’m directing, filming, and producing on the fly — capturing authentic moments as they unfold while keeping the story tight and cinematic.
My role includes:
- Directing and shaping the narrative in real time
- Filming in rugged environments (side-by-sides, duck blinds, boats, fields, marshes, etc.)
- Managing audio and camera setups in constantly changing conditions
- Editing full episodes with a documentary feel
- Highlighting Joey’s personality while maintaining a natural, unscripted flow
